How we started
Built for tenants who want their deposit back, and for the landlords and agents who need the flat re-let clean.
Edinburgh End of Tenancy Cleaning is a trading name of Sage Cleans Ltd, company number 15639410. Same company, same insurance, same vetting; the Edinburgh name just says what we do here and where we do it.
End of tenancy work is the whole trade. It is not a domestic cleaning round with checkouts squeezed in on a Friday. Every clean follows the same room-by-room list, because that is the list a letting agent or an inventory clerk marks against when the keys go back.
Edinburgh has the largest private rented share of any Scottish city: 55,000 households, 23% of the city's homes, per Scotland's Census 2022. Most of it is tenement stock, so a normal week means shared stairs, sash and case windows, deep skirtings and cornice, and a kitchen that has done a year of a full flat. That is the job we are set up for.
Every job comes with a 48-hour guarantee: if the landlord or letting agent flags anything within 48 hours, we come back and fix it free.
